Seal the Deal Fund: Non-repayable Grant for Social Enterprises

Seal the Deal fund is a non-repayable grant to help social enterprises: purchase equipment, receive help writing an RFP proposal, and/or pay legal fees to set-up a contract partnership.

Buy Social Canada has established this grant to support consulting, engagement, or capital purchases that will directly connect or conclude a supplier relationship with social procurement opportunity. Think of this grant program as a ‘last mile to the contract’ fund, giving you the fuel you need to take off on a new business endeavor.

Who Qualifies?

  • your organization meets the Buy Social Canada definition of a social enterprise: or
  • your organization is serving and/or led by women, indigenous peoples, visible minorities, official language minority communities, people with disabilities, and other equity-deserving groups.
  • your business has a clearly defined social value, purpose or mission, who takes action to create community benefits through your work
  • A business with experience in business-to-business and/or business-to-government sales.

Application Guidelines:

Maximum of $15,000 per project, there is no minimum.

The fund will be split between social enterprises and social purpose business suppliers.
