Markets are important places of commerce for many artists, food makers, and creators. They can happen any time of the year and come in all shapes and sizes. Whether you are just starting out, looking to add another revenue source to your business, or supporting a friend or family member, this workshop will help you become a more knowledgeable vendor!
In this workshop, we will review many topics to help set attendees up for success including basic terminology, common barriers, booth set ups, and expected costs. We’ll also go over a vendor’s first steps to consider when starting out. Lastly, we’ll offer an overview of areas such as:
- vendor tips and tricks
- pricing strategies
- safety and permits (i.e. food)
- how to follow general organizational or legal guidelines
