Sandrew Martins
Advisor, Entrepreneurship
SK Startup Institute
Sandrew is originally from Saskatoon and has a unique international background. He grew up splitting his time between Saskatoon and Pretoria, thanks to his family’s South African roots. After finishing university, Sandrew spent two years living in Australia, where he discovered a promising fitness franchise that he brought back to Saskatoon.
With a strong passion for fitness, Sandrew found his entrepreneurial spark while running two fitness locations over the last five years. He’s enjoyed diving into everything from operations and team building to finances and work ethic, leading a team of ten trainers. Sandrew loves helping clients reach their fitness and business goals, and he’s all about setting up processes to make sure those goals stick.
Outside of work, Sandrew enjoys quality time with his wife and their two-year-old son. He’s also busy with his latest project, Neeva, a fast-growing consumer packaged goods company. This new venture is giving him fresh insights into business structure, inventory management and the retail/e-commerce landscape.
