Introducing the 2026 SOAR Semi-Finalists

SREDA’s SK Startup Institute and Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) are excited to announce the 12 semi-finalists for the 2026 SOAR Indigenous Entrepreneurship Competition.

Over the next several weeks, these entrepreneurs will participate in a series of workshops designed to meet their business needs and goals. Sessions will explore topics such as branding and marketing strategy, accounting and bookkeeping, mental health and wellness, public speaking, and pitch strategy.

The semi-finalists will draw on this knowledge and preparation as they pitch to a panel of judges, who will select the entrepreneurs advancing to the SOAR Pitch Finale on October 21. Finalists will present their businesses to a live audience and judging panel for the opportunity to win a share of the $50,000 prize fund.

SOAR creates lasting economic and community impact by helping Indigenous entrepreneurs build resilient, sustainable businesses. Through mentorship, business education, professional networks, and financial support, participants gain tools and connections to strengthen their businesses, create employment opportunities, and contribute to economic prosperity in their communities.
